The Petroleum Commission, Ghana – Petroleum Data Workshop 

The Petroleum Data Workshop within the West African Energy Summit is a joint venture initiative run by the Petroleum Commission and TGS as a pioneering program aimed at providing a comprehensive update to the oil and gas industry regarding technological advancements within the Petroleum Data sector. Delivered with the intent of enhancing exploration and production capabilities for governments and operators across Africa, this workshop serves as a platform to uncover new technology and advancements that the sector can use to enhance petroleum data management, processing, vessel technology, and interpretation innovation.

Workshop Objectives:

To showcase the latest technological advancements in big data analytics, processing techniques, vessel technology, and interpretation innovation within the Petroleum Data industry.

To facilitate knowledge exchange and networking opportunities among stakeholders in the oil and gas sector, including government representatives, industry operators, service providers, and technology innovators.

To empower the Geological and Geophysical (G&G) community by deepening their understanding of how they can harness innovation in Petroleum Data for more effective exploration and production activities.
